Alyssa is a Registered Massage Therapist with 2200 hours of training. She graduated from MacEwan University’s two year diploma program in June of 2015 and is registered with the Remedial Massage Therapists Association since March of 2015.

Alyssa’s treatment style is versatile and changes based on the needs of each individual. She uses a variety of techniques to help people suffering from everyday aches and pains to the not so common sports injuries. Some techniques used are Myofascial release, Trigger point therapy, Manual lymphatic drainage and PNF stretching. Alyssa also offers pre and post natal massage. She believes regular massage and self-care are needed to maintain a healthy, pain free lifestyle.

Alyssa always had an interest in massage, but made the decision to pursue it after a soft tissue cheerleading injury that went treated with a prescription and not manual therapy. This inspired her to do better for others in similar situations and help people recover from sports injuries with massage, while always being open to other forms of care such as chiropractic and physiotherapy.

When she is not massaging she is cheerleading competitively. Alyssa started cheerleading in high school and is currently in her sixth competitive year, now out of Alberta Cheer Empire. In addition to competing, she coaches a high school cheer team in Sherwood Park and judges at multiple competitions around Alberta.
