Arne Anderson - MScPT, BScKin, CEP, CPT
Arne Anderson is a Physical Therapist who completed his Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Arne also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, is a Certified Exercise Physiologist, and a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology.
After completing his studies as an Exercise Physiologist in 2012, Arne worked for several research groups at the Alberta Diabetes Institute and Cross Cancer Institute conducting fitness testing and exercise programs for patients in their research studies. During his studies at the University of Alberta, Arne conducted fire fighter testing and fitness testing for the Edmonton Oilers, the University of Alberta Golden Bears, and University of Alberta Pandas.
Arne has always had a passion for sport. Arne grew up playing rugby and soccer in his home country of South Africa but enjoyed playing hockey, soccer, and lacrosse when he moved to Canada. Arne’s passion for sports has motivated him to become a trained ImPACT Concussion Physical Therapist to manage and work with motor vehicle accident patients and athletes affected with concussions.
Arne has completed his Level 1 Anatomical Acupuncture and Level 1 Diploma of Advanced Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. Arne is planning on obtaining his Level 2 Anatomical Acupuncture and Level 2 Diploma of Advanced Orthopedic Manuel and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
In addition to joining the Physical Therapy team at Evolve, Arne is currently working in a Private clinic in Sherwood Park. Arne uses evidence-based practice to assess, treat, and condition his patients. His treatments consist of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional movement screens. Arne welcomes and encourages all.
