My name is Keeley Smith and I am a physical therapist who enjoys treating all areas of the body with a special interest in pelvic health. Everyone should have the ability to access professionals that can help you get back to enjoying work, play and everyday life when something stops you from moving.

I have had a number of injuries, illness and conditions over the years that affected and changed how I was able to participate in everyday life. I realized through these experiences that any condition that stops you from keeping active will potentially impact your health for the rest of your life. I really appreciated having health professionals along to help assess, plan, support, encourage and teach me about my body and how to get back to my everyday life and activities. Helping each person on their path back to movement and working with such amazing professionals that have helped me is what continuously inspires me in the work I do.

I completed my Physical Therapy degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2001.  I have enjoyed many opportunities to explore Canada coast to coast through my education and clinical work in private and public settings including the Urogynecology Clinic at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton. There are many courses I have taken over the years including acupuncture, personal training and yoga teacher training.  It is really the people I have worked with that have taught me the most. In the area of pelvic health there is sometimes minimal access to professionals who treat incontinence, birth injuries, sexual and pelvic pain, and prolapse. And that’s where I am now. Offering the opportunity for you to get the care you need to restore, maximize, and maintain your current level of activity and health.

Some of the treatments I employ include:
● Treatment of Women’s Health conditions including fecal and bladder incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, bladder and bowel urgency and frequency, urine retention
● Diastasis Recti Assessment and Treatment
● Dry needling and TCM Acupuncture and cupping
● Manual Therapy & Connective Tissue Massage
● Movement Analysis
